Alana and Alyssa
The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring on the screens of small sizes. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza quickly realized her passion for performing. She moved into New York and in 2001 she scored her first part on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first big series role was the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Most recent TV appearance was on Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly more dark-hearted show Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister Cory is 10 years older than her. Her family was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano began her profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter accompanied her to a stage audition. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand hopefuls. Milano was featured in commercials both on Broadway and television, including the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
