The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring on the screens of small sizes. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza quickly realized her passion for performing. She moved into New York and in 2001 she scored her first part on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first big series role was the short-lived drama The Mountain.
